Dario Rivera takes part on an international forum about Pentecostalism

Dario Paulo Barrera Rivera, postgraduated professor at Metodista Universidade in Sao Paulo, joined by Suma Ikeuchi (Doctoral Candidate, History), participated on 4th of november, of a seminar about “Pentecostalism Across Boarders: Religion, Migration and Conversion In and Beyond Brazil” at Candler School of Teology (Emory University), Atlanta, United States.
Dario Rivera is also leader of the Research Group REPAL (Religion & Suburb in Latin America), and at the forum, Rivera and Ikeuchi discussed the ways in which Pentecostal religion in Brazil intersects with migration across national boundaries, in one case between Peru and Brazil and in another between Japan and Brazil.
